Infused Honey

Some of my best selling honeys at markets are my infused
honeys.
Here are a few that you can make at home.
Vanilla infused honey

Take one vanilla bean and
place it into 9-12 ounces of
honey. Seal and let sit for 1-2
weeks.
Bean can be left in jar or
removed.
Great on ice cream or desserts.
Chamomile infused honey
One of my favorites!

Add 1/4 cup chamomile (Same
used for tea!)  to 9-12 ounces
of honey.
Let sit 30,60,90... days till the
flavor is strong enough for your
tastes. Warm lightly
(90 degrees) and filter through
cheese cloth.
Cold infused lavender
Raw infused

to 9-12 ounces of honey.
Let sit 2 to 3 weeks turning jar
every 2-3 days to mix

(90degrees) and filter through
cheese cloth. Enjoy!
Warm infused lavender

Heat honey in double boiler to
115 degrees.
Grind up 1/4 cup of culinary
lavender and place into coffee
filter. Pour warm honey through
filter.  Quick and distinctive
honey
Rose petal infused honey
Add 1/4 cup rose petals
harvested from fresh rose
blossoms  that have NOT been
sprayed with pesticides to 9-12
ounces of honey.

Honey can be spread on toast
and eaten petals and all!
